Are You Ready?

A wise person in my life always told me that “one must not complain of the problem, but be part of the solution.” I hope that with this blog I am able to bring in some type of solution to the difficult times of today.

Who am I? I, Hala Abdoun, was certified in 2003 to provide trainings to individuals on developing resume and interview skills. I was trained by an organization that catered their services to the homeless community. So we were certified to train them on breaking barriers, beating the odds of their current situation and not only obtaining the job but keeping the job. Through this organization, I developed the “Daily Job Club” which focuses on younger people not learning any of these skills in school. *After leaving the organization, I continued these providing these trainings under my freelance business, ElHala Consulting & Management (or ElHala C&M). I continued to take on extra courses and trainings (not including countless texts I’ve read) as well as redeveloped the guidebook over the years to better continue to provide these trainings in the last 5 years.

Today, I’ve now redeveloped the Career Development Guidebook and created the Career Development Guidebook for High School and College Students. I continue to provide the “Career Development Training” in different learning formats to better suite times and attendees. The guidebooks will be made available for purchase shortly as well as it being available to attendees of my trainings. With this blog, I hope to be able to read out to a broader audience that can utilize some of the information I can provide as well as be aware should training be held in their area.

So… are you ready? Let’s go then! 🙂
